Andy Rowe

Executive Producer and Showrunner

Andy is a versatile, successful entertainment, comedy and factual Producer with over 20 years experience as a showrunner. He is a consistent business winner turning new ideas into pilots, commissions and re-commissions. Andy has a strong track record in setting up, producing and launching major international formats drawing on expert insight in performance & music, comedy, reality, adventure, gameshows, quiz, observational comedy and hidden camera. He is a Developer and Producer of significant primetime projects for many of the major broadcasters and SVODs – in the UK and in the USA – and, although he is an inspiring team leader, manager and astute decision-maker, he loves rolling his sleeves up and running projects from the ground up. Working across Entertainment Development for most of his career, David is quite literally a One Stop Shop in terms of Creative Thinking. He has held numerous Senior Roles in the industry from Head of Development with Unique Television, Talent Television and WhizzKid Entertainment to Head of Entertainment with At It Productions and Eyeworks UK and 19TV where he worked with the Creative Team on Pop Idol. He took the role of Executive Editor for In-House Development at the BBC responsible for the teams in London and Manchester.

His skill set is to be able to focus on a slate or on a brief and inspire a team - however many that may be - to take an idea from the creative brainstorm to the commissioning pitch with a relentless passion and energy for the process of creating and imagining formats. His ability to inspire is in his DNA. In just the last 3 years he has driven the creative strategy behind 3 different development teams with 3 clients - all of which have resulted in commissioner level run-throughs and funded pilots.

His work in the Indie sector has meant he has established and maintained a strong relationship with Commissioning Teams throughout. In Consultancy he now works with companies here in the UK (England & Scotland) Ireland, The Netherlands, Canada and the USA either with the existing teams or on a project specific basis.
