Steve is an experienced Executive Producer and Series Consultant of reality/ob-doc, constructed reality and fact-ent formats.
After two series as Exec on The Rap Game UK (Naked TV for BBCThree), Steve currently serves as Series Consultant, and works with format holders A+E to advise international territories looking to launch the brand.
Steve is adept at launching first series, particularly precinct and 'world' based reality (Angels of the North BBCThree, Absolutely Ascot ITVBe, Peckham’s Finest ITV2). He has also held returning senior roles in huge reality formats like Big Brother (18 consecutive seasons across the C5 years), TOWIE and I’m a Celeb.
Steve has valuable instincts for producing authentic people and places, and devising innovative format structures that drive story, character, and jeopardy with comedy and drama at core.
Well versed in complex duty of care, running inclusive teams of all sizes, overseeing cross-platform social strategy, and keeping broadcasters happy.
Aside from TV, Steve is currently working with You Me Bum Bum Train and having a lot of top-secret fun.
