Emma infuses every project she tackles with a depth of expertise and a wealth of experience. She is collaborative in her creative vision whilst her sharp focus ensures she is an effective project leader. With a keen eye for photography and a seasoned grasp of technical intricacies, Emma excels at cultivating talent and steering teams towards success. In every project, she oversees the sound engineering and lighting design. She works with drones and cranes and effectively translates scripts and concepts into captivating sets in studio and on location.


Emma excels in rejuvenating established formats such as The Big Painting Challenge and Location Location Location and as a designer and director for fixed rig set-ups, Fame Academy, The Farm, The Games, live gallery directing Deal or No Deal, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now, Let’s Do Lunch with Gino and Mel, and multi-camera directing for de-rig outside broadcasts The Great Pottery Throw Down, Bake Off, Bake Off – The Professionals, Handmade: Britain’s Best Woodworker, The Unique Boutique, Open House: The Great Sex Experiment

She also works as a format consultant The Kids Are Alright and creates format bibles Antiques Roadshow 2023, Location Location Location, The Unique Boutique, Handmade: Britain’s Best Woodworker

Emma was tasked with revitalizing the prime-time BBC1 show Antiques Roadshow, redesigning the kit list, set design, and visual shooting style to breathe new life into the programme.


Passionate about travel, Emma thrives on adventure working across diverse locations globally. She has journeyed and filmed across eight islands in the Caribbean, as well as various Mediterranean locales, including Petra alongside Ainsley Harriott Ainsley’s Caribbean Kitchen, Ainsley’s Mediterranean Cookbook and the length and breadth of France for James Martin's French Adventure, ventured to Australia for I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now, explored the USA for New York: America's Busiest Cities, and filmed on a fishing trawler amidst great whites (and during a hurricane) in the Pacific Ocean next to the Isle de Guadeloupe, Mexico for Killer Shark Live. She has covered the entirety of Ireland for Rachel Allen's Coastal Cooking and has filmed in a wide array of locations across the UK, spanning from Scotland to Wales to Cornwall. Her work has taken her to India, Malaysia, China, and Egypt, where she served as a format consultant; Location Location Location, The Kids Are Alright, Super Soccer Stars, Super Fashion Stars

Currently, Emma serves as the Co-chair of Telly Mums and TV Switch Up, leading a group of freelancers dedicated to supporting those facing challenges in the TV industry. She is currently project managing the launch of a new YouTube channel featuring Instagram cookery stars, with plans to launch later this year.
