Luke Shiach is a highly experienced and Bafta-winning Executive Producer /Showrunner working across entertainment, comedy, factual entertainment, live events and sport for all the major UK channels and an international streamer.
He is a creative, collaborative and friendly content maker who works closely with onscreen talent, writers, editorial colleagues and production management to deliver successful shows on time and within budget. He exudes calm under pressure and is well versed in legal, financial, compliance and welfare issues. He is efficient, highly organised and maintains excellent working relationships with commissioners, production companies, talent and production colleagues. Occasionally, he wins awards too - programmes he’s produced have won Baftas, British Comedy Awards, RTS Awards and a Rose D’Or.
He has built and managed teams of all sizes, working with budgets at both ends of the spectrum. He has overseen run-throughs, pilots and helped launch first series as well as being a steady hand on long-running programmes.
Luke has produced large-scale live shows in iconic venues such as Wembley Arena, the Dublin 3 Arena, Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena and the Manchester O2 Apollo – often involving live music performances. He has worked closely with top talent such as James Corden, John Bishop, Jason Manford, Holly Willoughby, Frank Skinner, Sara Pascoe, Al Murray, Anne Robinson and Romesh Ranganathan as well as sports stars Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Jamie Redknapp, Frank Lampard, Freddie Flintoff and Peter Crouch. He’s run numerous galleries with leading UK presenters including shows fronted by up to three co-hosts and overseen complex and lengthy post-production scenarios.
Luke has worked for many top UK independent production companies including: CPL, Studio Lambert, Hat Trick, Hungry Bear, Avalon, Buzz 16, Sony Television, Remarkable, 12 Yard, Potato, Hotsauce and So Television, frequently returning for ensuing series or on multiple shows.
